Scavengers depicts a bloody scene of a young woman’s body being consumed viciously by vibrantly coloured scavenger animals. The woman adorned in white tribal paint stares blankly towards the viewer, a light pink and purple spotted hyena consuming her at the neck. Two vultures tear pieces of flesh off the woman’s body, the lime green vulture at the forefront looking absent-mindedly to the left while finishing its bite, her heart laying at its feet. The vulture in the back, coloured in vivid, purples, and greens, dips its blood-covered toes in the woman’s guts. The warm orange and yellow spotted hyena in the back stares intensely towards the viewer, its face dripping with the woman’s fresh blood.
